Dr. Dettling is fellowship trained and has extensive experience in the field of orthopedic surgery & sports medicine.  He has extraordinary skills in the area of minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery.  He specializes in complex and arthroscopic reconstruction of the shoulder, elbow and knee including soft tissue reconstructions, revision surgery, cartilage transplantation procedures and joint replacement surgery.

Dr. Dettling has published numerous articles in peer review journals regarding sports related shoulder and knee injuries and conditions.  He actively lectures and instructs colleagues on conditions of the shoulder, elbow and knee as well as sports medicine topics.

Dr. Dettling has vast experience in caring for patients and athletes of all ages and levels of activity as well as workers comp injuries.
